In our last two weeks we leave Torquay and head to Kotupna to visit Sharyn & Steve, who we met in Mt Isa, on their property beef & cropping property. Going for a drive to Yarrawonga for lunch we call into Katamatite to see this beautiful silo art. Even after seeing so many silos it still amazes me to how they can create such wonderful pictures.
Paddle steamer in Yarrawonga while we had our lunch on the banks of the mighty Murray River. Yet another silo in Waaia, magnificent….

Leaving Kotupna we head to Sydney to visit Margaret & Colin, Cameron’s sister & husband, in West Pennant Hills. Train trip to CBD on the Metro starting at Cherrybrook and the beautiful blossoms in the background.

Sights of Sydney, lunch in a small arcade and of course the ferries. Just sitting and watching them is fascinating everybody moving with a purpose in mind.

More sights and the famous Opera House.

The excitement of the day was Margaret’s birthday present a walk on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Cameron and sister Margaret spent 3 hours wandering the Sydney sights while I walked the bridge.

After a busy day in Sydney we went for a walk in rehabilitation site of gum trees. Very peaceful and calming.

Relaxing with our drinks & a family photo.
Leaving West Pennant Hills passing Paddocks of Patterson Curse and Cape Weed and a lunchtime visit from a beautiful yellow rosella.

Back in Torquay catching up with friends, Dave & Maureen, Sue & Tim (no photo), my brother Neil and my cousin Heather. a visit to my Mum & Dad’s grave and at the site a Gymea Lily, would be great to see it open.
Back in the Mersey River, Devonport, Cameron catches a photo of Searoad Mersey pulling into dock.

The end of trip this year 3 months away 18th June to September 20th, a trip with magnificent scenery, seeing family and friends and enjoying meeting new friends.
